The question

One question that should be asked of every presidential candidate, Democrat, Repub or other:

What specific steps will you take to ensure that the unwarranted, and even unlawful expansion of executive power by George W. Bush is not continued in your administration?

And a follow up that should be asked of all:

When you say that, do you intend to cut back executive power to where it was before Mr. Bush, or are you merely saying that you will not seek to expand that power further?

I hope many read this post. It is at the essence of the threat to this country, Bush's violation of his oath to uphold and defend the Constitution.

James Madison anticipated this. Nichols and Fein have talked about and written about the Founders's provision against it, Impeachment.

Not likely to happen with the Dems rather gutless and feckless running for cover from accusations that they are soft on terrorism and unpatriotic.

So, your questions are important and timely.
