The President's defense

Did you see President' Obama's spirited defense of his "compromise" with the Republicans?

This is called--as the President should recall--putting lipstick on a pig.

I recommend Wasserman's cartoon in today's Globe, and Tom Toles' cartoon and blog post in today's WaPo.

They capture the essence of the public's disgust.
